Joseph Rogers built his house in 1794, which would be 11 years after Mary Moss married John Coburn, so she likely never lived in the house, although she may have visited her mother, Jenny, there. Jenny died about 1812-1813, so Jenny lived in the h ouse about 9 years. The cabin that Joseph built is currently the kitchen of the current house, which has been expanded over the years. |
