Note from John P regarding cemetery location: The farmer I talked to was at the top of a hill and the cemetery was down the hill from his barn, on the right side of the road and in front yard of a house, the farmer said the cemetery years before h ad a wrought iron fence around, and was located where a large bush is in front of the house the cemetery was covered over but the large bush was still there when I talked to the farmer.
The hill was not a steep hill and top of the hill there was a small house across the street from the barn which was on the right at the top of the hill. The cemetery was on the same side of the street as the barn and unless a new house has been bui lt there cemetery was in front of house before getting to the barn. A Chancery advertisement dated 1805 doesn't include Ephraim or Robert as heirs of William Worthington deceased. It's possible neither of those sons survived to that date. |
