Building a cover for a 1800 stone well

Well has dry-laid stone walls (almost certainly built by enslaved workers).

Walls extend 20 Feet into the ground with an Inside diameter of 8 or 9 feet.

There were 3 feet of water standing at the bottom of the well on June 7, 2025

EWOWP built a well cover so the public can admire the stone work and ingenuity to construct such a well BY HAND around 1800.
