It is possible the source of Clinton Campbell Coburn's first and middle name was a physician in Ripley, Ohio, Dr. Clinton Campbell. Dr. Campbell was born in 1811, just one year before Clinton Coburn's father, and died in 1850. I can only speculat e that Clinton's father, Dr. John A. Coburn, went to medical school with Dr. Campbell, being the same age, however, there are no records to prove that.
